About Scorpion Industrial Polymers Pvt. Ltd.
Scorpion Industrial Polymers Pvt. Ltd. started its journey in the year 1975
as a proprietorship, later became a partnership in 1978, and was declared
as a Private Limited Company in 1990.
SIPPL operates from two separate manufacturing locations, each spanning
10,000 sq.ft., located within 500 meters from the main factory. The locations
are segregated based on specialty, color compounding, and generic polymer
processing to avoid cross contamination.
Our existing supplies include O-Rings ranging from minimum
1.5 × 1.7 mm to maximum 1025 × 12 mm, suitable for all types of transformers
and other industrial applications.
Our Journey
1975 – Started as Proprietorship
SIPPL began operations as a proprietorship with a strong technical
foundation in rubber compounding and industrial polymer solutions.
1978 – Became a Partnership
Expansion into a partnership enabled increased production capacity
and strengthened long-term customer relationships.
1990 – Declared as Private Limited
SIPPL was incorporated as a Private Limited Company, marking structured
growth, improved infrastructure, and large-scale manufacturing capability.
2005 – First export business started to UK
SIPPL marked its global expansion by commencing its
first export operations to the United Kingdom,
establishing an international footprint and strengthening overseas business relationships.
2014- Unit 2 established
Unit 2 was established within
a 500-meter radius of the main factory
for color compounding and molding, operating
under a controlled environment to prevent
cross-contamination.
2017- Unit 3 established
Unit 3 was established within a 1,000-meter
radius of the main factory, dedicated exclusively
to rubber compounding.
2017- Integrated Management System Certified & Implemented
The company successfully implemented and certified
an Integrated Management System (IMS), reinforcing
its commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and operational excellence across all processes.
2020 - Approval from PGCIL for High-Voltage Applications
SIPPL received approval from Power Grid
Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) to supply
O-Rings and Gaskets for Power Transformers and
Reactors up to 765 kV, reflecting its technical
capability and compliance with stringent power-sector standards.
2024 - Unit 3 consolidated with Unit 1
Unit 3 operations were discontinued
and fully consolidated into Unit 1,
centralizing rubber compounding activities
to improve operational control and efficiency.
2025- Award from GE Vernova.
Received an Award from GE Vernova
T&D for Risk & Resilience Category
2025- Green Channel Supplier Recognition by SAFT India.
Recognized as a Green Channel Supplier to SAFT India,
SIPPL achieved this milestone through consistent sustainable
